The Association of Young Danish Surgeons – YDK – was established in 1990.
Our aim is to serve the professional, educational and organisational interests of young Danish surgeons.

The association arranges training courses for young surgeons and is presently developing a network of young Danish surgeons.

In addition to these activities YDK assigns an award of 5.000 DKK annually to an individual or a public institution that has carried out honorable work supporting the aim of the association.
